USWE Outlander XC 4L is a race pack designed to be able to carry your phone keys, gloves and some extra energy to keep you going on the fast, high effort ride or race. Its designed for the performance minded MTB or gravel enthusiast who value low-weight gear. The front straps are lightweight with a highly breathable mesh, while the airy back panel helps to keep you dry and cool during fast, high effort rides.

STAY HYDRATED ON IN ACTION

The pack comes with an included 1.5L Hydrapak Elite™ hydration bladder with a big Slide-Seal top to easily fill it with water and ice. The bladder sits tight thanks to the compression sleeve and the drinking tube attaches easily and securely with the tube clip.

OCEAN RECYCLED

The new material is PFAS-free and Ocean Recycled.

HOW TO ADJUST YOUR NDM 1 HARNESS

All of our NDM 1 products are unisex and are designed and tested for both men and women. To set up the harness follow the steps below.

Put the backpack on. Adjust the horizontal chest straps to a comfortable length (The two “d-rings” allow you to change between a larger and smaller size). Use the outer ring for the large size and loop through both for the smaller size.
Adjust the vertical shoulder straps (If needed) to adjust the height of the buckle, the center buckle should align around the height of your solar plexus. Do note that a few models like Race 2.0 and Outlander PRO does not have this setting due to their low weight.

BACKPACK CARE

After Every Use

Empty the pack completely after each ride
Brush clean any soiled areas with mild soapy water (any biodegradable bike wash)

Periodically

Spot clean with mild soapy water (any biodegradable bike wash)
Keep zippers clean to extend lifespan

Storage

Close all compartments
Store in a dry, well-ventilated environment

IMPORTANT:

Never put your pack into a washing machine or dryer, this damages the PU coating. Only hand wash
The pack fabrics can’t be ironed

HYDRATION BLADDER CLEANING GUIDE

Cleaning

Turn the bladder inside out by placing your hand inside, gripping the base, and pulling it back through the opening — like turning a sock inside out.
Once inverted, wash with warm water and mild soap or a bladder-specific cleaning tablet.
Scrub the interior gently with a long-handled brush to remove residue and buildup.
Rinse thoroughly with clean water until all soap is gone.

Drying

Prop the bladder opening wide using a Hydration Bladder Drying Rack (CCW-019) or clean kitchen utensil to allow airflow.
Hang in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Allow the bladder to dry completely while inside out before storing.
